Fergal is a graduate of Law & Accounting from the University of Limerick. He qualified as a Chartered Tax Adviser with the Irish Tax Institute.
Prior to founding CTS in 2007, his career included spells as Trainee in PWC Limerick, Tax Senior in PWC Cork, Tax Director in FGS and Tax Director in KPMG.
His particular areas of expertise include Revenue audits, corporate restructuring, succession planning, personal tax planning and VAT on property.
Fergal competed at the top level (A1) of Irish cycling and continues to run and sponsor the Clare County Cycling Championship. He is a sponsor and under-age football coach with Clooney - Quin GAA club and is member of the Board of Management of Ennis CBS primary school.
Sinéad graduated with a degree in Law & Accounting from the University of Limerick and subsequently completed a Masters of Law (LLM) at Trinity College Dublin. She is a Chartered Tax Adviser (AITI) and a Solicitor (Law Society).
Prior to joining CTS, she worked with Ahern O’Shea Solicitors, Clare Street, Dublin and J.M. Burke Tax Solicitors, Donnybrook, Dublin 4.
She has particular expertise in tax litigation, Revenue audits, corporate restructuring, personal taxation, estate and succession planning, including cross-border succession matters.
Sinéad is a keen gardener, pianist and gym-goer.
Annemarie graduated with a degree in Law & Accounting from the University Limerick and is a Chartered Tax Adviser (AITI).
Prior to joining CTS, she worked with Grant Thornton Limerick where she progressed from trainee to manager.
She worked in all areas of tax during her time in Grant Thornton but has particular expertise in Corporate Restructurings, Corporation Tax, Personal Tax Planning, Income Tax and Succession Planning.
Annemarie volunteers with animal welfare groups.
Karen has a Bachelor of Business (BBS, Law & Taxation) from Limerick Institute of Technology and is a Chartered Tax Adviser (AITI).
Karen has worked as a Tax Trainee & Tax Senior with Grant Thornton Limerick.
Her particular areas of expertise include Income Tax compliance and planning, Corporation Tax compliance and planning, estate and succession planning.
She works closely with solicitors and accountants as well as directly with clients in a variety of business sectors, high net worth individuals and SMEs.
Karen plays ladies football with her local club Kilmurry Ibrickane, was a former member of the Clare ladies senior football team and is a ladies football referee. Karen is a member of Lifford FC ladies soccer team and Spanish Point Golf Club. Karen also plays the concertina and enjoys set dancing.
Liz spent the first 9 years of her career in general practice and gained diverse accounting and auditing experience. She is a fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountant in Ireland since 2007 having previously qualified as a Chartered Tax Adviser (AITI) in 2001.
Prior to joining CTS, Liz spent 18 years working for BDO Limerick where she was responsible for managing a portfolio of high net worth individuals including their Irish and UK Income Tax returns, capital gains tax and fiduciary tax affairs.
In CTS, Elizabeth specialises in Tax Planning, Personal Tax Compliance matters and Revenue Audits.
She works closely with solicitors and accountants as well as directly with clients in a variety of business sectors and assists high net worth individuals and SMEs with all their tax needs.
A committed volunteer over the years, Elizabeth has held the position of PRO, Secretary and Treasurer of sports clubs and other voluntary organisations and is currently Secretary of the Parents Association of the local school and Treasurer of the Limerick Branch of Cystic Fibrosis Ireland.
Hombeline holds a French and Irish Bachelor in Business degree (Hons) from Griffith College Dublin and ISC Paris and a Masters in Taxation from University of Limerick.
She is working as a Tax Trainee while studying to complete the Chartered Tax Adviser (AITI) qualification.
Hombeline enjoys surfing, swimming and snowboarding.
As receptionist and PA to Fergal Cahill, Diane is often the first point of contact for CTS clients.
She has been with the company since moving from the UK in 2007.
Her listening and all-round organisational skills are central to the smooth-running of the business.
She enjoys hill-walking, baking and going to the cinema.
Mary joined the CTS team in November 2017 and works part-time to assists with daily administrative responsibilities.
Mary previously worked for Ulster Bank where she enjoyed the managing of a team and direct customer contact.
She enjoys walking and cycling. Mary has a keen interest in the GAA. She likes to support the local Banner Club and is a loyal supporter of her native Kerry in the football.
